Back To Reality



So today was my first day back to work in over 10 days.

There were 170 emails...

My In-box was overflowing....

and I had 12 voicemails to listen to and answer.   On top of that it was a Monday.  

But - my day flew by and before I knew it, it was time to leave and get to the gym. 

I haven't been to the gym in almost 2 weeks.   I decided to really work it out tonight and get back into the swing of things.   I ran 2 miles then hit the weights.  About 45 minutes into my work out I began to get lightheaded and had to sit down.  I haven't felt this way in a very long time.  I think the last time was when I hired a personal trainer 2 1/2 years ago.    But I sat down for about a minute, let it pass and decide to do my last 10 minutes on the bike.    I managed an hour and burned 730 calories.

Food today was...

Breakfast - Cranberry Almond Oatmeal by Active Lifestyle.  If you have a Kroger near year, this is what the box looks like.
Unfortunately, I do not have a Kroger.   While on vacation, my friend Lis brought me some packets from Vegas.  Just my luck I love the damn oatmeal and cant buy it anywhere.  I"m thinking shes gonna have to ship it. :)   haha!!

Lunch for the week is turkey chili.   I changed mine up a bit this week and added a container of the Philadelphia Santa Fe Blend Cooking Creme.   I LOVE this stuff.  It makes the chili kinda creamy, so that it has the consistency that it would if I added sour cream.   One full pot of chili made 8 cups, and I used one container of the cooking creme which was 410 calories, so that added 50 calories per cup.  Not too bad considering I'd add cheese AND sour cream to my chili all the time.   

Afternoon snack was one turkey stick, one light string cheese, and 14 Buffalo Wing flavored almonds.

Dinner tonight is baked Barramundi with 4 oz carrots.  I added 1/2 tbsp of butter to the fish along with some Mango Lime seasoning by Weber, and 1/2 tbsp butter to the carrots.

96 Carbs
80 grams of protein
